The funeral will be conducted from the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Ave., on Saturday, Feb. 20, at 8 a.m. There will be a Funeral Mass in his memory at St. Thomas the Apostle Church Bloomfield at 9 a.m. The interment will be at Mt. Nicholas was born in Newark and lived in Nutley for most of his life. He was a vice president at Tujax Industries in Jersey City for many years. He was a lighting contractor for Bergenfield Lighting in Bergenfield, where he planned and designed the lighting at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford. He was also a lighting consultant for Monarch Lighting in Bergenfield before retiring six years ago. Nicholas is survived by his beloved daughter, Pamela Pieroni; his sister, Rose DiFonzo, and his brother-in-law, Jack Harrington and his wife, Connie. Nicholas was predeceased by his beloved wife, Lillian M. (nee Generalli) Pieroni, and his sister, Julia Rossi.
