Great triple vignette by Security Banknote Co. Scarce! Sperry Corporation was founded by Elmer Ambrose Sperry. Sperry Corp. was a prominent American equipment and electronics company that operated for over seven decades during the 20th century. The company ceased to exist in 1986 after a protracted hostile takeover by Burroughs Corporation, which led to the formation of Unisys through the merger of their operations. Many of Sperry's former divisions were absorbed by Honeywell, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon Technologies, and Northrop Grumman.

Sperry is renowned for developing the artificial horizon and a range of gyroscope-based aviation instruments, including autopilots, bombsights, analog ballistics computers, and gyro gunsights. After World War II, the company expanded into electronics, focusing initially on aviation-related technologies and later branching into computer systems. A stock certificate is issued by businesses, usually companies. A stock is part of the permanent finance of a business. Normally, they are never repaid, and the investor can recover his/her money only by selling to another investor. Most stocks, or also called shares, earn dividends, at the business's discretion, depending on how well it has traded. A stockholder or shareholder is a part-owner of the business that issued the stock certificates.
