Large size Check signed by Zane Grey. Measures 8" x 3". Great bold signature in purple ink. 

Pearl Zane Grey (January 31, 1872 – October 23, 1939) was an American author and dentist known for his popular adventure novels and stories associated with the Western genre in literature and the arts. His best-selling book was "Riders of the Purple Sage" (1912). In addition to his success as a writer, Grey's works have had a lasting impact through adaptations into films and television. His novels and short stories were adapted into 112 films, two television episodes, and a television series called "Dick Powell's Zane Grey Theatre."

Grey was one of the first authors to become a millionaire. His books played a significant role in shaping the myths of the Old West and have been adapted into other media, such as film and TV productions. He authored more than 90 books, some of which were published posthumously or based on serials originally published in magazines. Total book sales of his works exceeded 40 million.
