Stock issued to Molsons Bank and signed on back by John Thomas Molson (President of Molson Bank from 1875–1879).

John Thomas Molson (1837-1910) was a partner at the Molson Brewery. He was born to Thomas Molson and Martha Molson. Following the death of his first wife, Lily, he undertook a twelve-year sailing expedition on his custom-built steam yacht, the Nooya, which included a circumnavigation of the globe in 1871-1872. This extraordinary achievement made him the first individual to navigate a steam yacht around the world.

In his later years, John Thomas Molson was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease by 1892, which required him to use a wheelchair by the time he reached sixty. He died in 1910 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. His legacy is not only associated with the famous Molson Brewery but also with his adventurous nature and his position within a distinguished family that significantly contributed to Canadian business and social progress.
