Railroad Stock printed by Republic Bank Note Company, Pittsburgh, PA. Great side vi ew of an electric streetcar. Elaborate borders. Rare!!! This rail line was around the area of the McKees Rocks Industrial Railroad, identified by the reporting mark MRIE, which was previously known as the Pittsburgh, Allegheny and McKees Rocks Railroad (PAM). This switching railroad catered to the industrial facilities located in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania. It also provided service to the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, which was formerly the Pittsburgh and Western Railway, by means of a car ferry operation that traversed the Ohio River. This ferry service was in operation until 1926, utilizing the steamboat named "Steel Queen."
