Coal Mining Stock. Great vignette of two coal miners at work in the mines. Scarce!!! Available in Brown, Orange or Blue. Please specify color. During the height of Anthracite mining in Pennsylvania, numerous coal companies established distinctive brands for their coal products. Among the most renowned was the "Blue Coal" produced by the Glen Alden Coal Company. It was common for coal to be dyed in colors other than the traditional black. Loomis Park was situated within the boundaries of the Loomis Mine, located to the north of Nanticoke. The final remnants of the Loomis Mine were dismantled in the mid-1980s. This mine featured the deepest shaft in the valley, positioned behind Loomis Park, where the miners resided. Currently, Route 29 serves as a dividing line between this area and the Park. The Loomis Mine was operated by the Glen Alden Coal Company, which was also known as the Blue Coal Company.

A stock certificate is issued by businesses, usually companies. A stock is part of the permanent finance of a business. Normally, they are never repaid, and the investor can recover his/her money only by selling to another investor. Most stocks, or also called shares, earn dividends, at the business's discretion, depending on how well it has traded. A stockholder or shareholder is a part-owner of the business that issued the stock certificates.
