Foster Wheeler AG, formerly known as Foster Wheeler Inc., was a Swiss-based multinational engineering conglomerate, with its primary executive offices located in Reading, United Kingdom, and its registered office in Baar, Canton of Zug, Switzerland. The company was added to the NASDAQ-100 index on July 12, 2007. On November 13, 2014, Foster Wheeler merged with Amec plc, leading to the creation of Amec Foster Wheeler. This newly established entity was later acquired and integrated into Wood Group in October 2017. Founded in 1927, Foster Wheeler emerged from the merger of the Power Specialty Company—an organization that evolved from the American Water Works Supply Company, established by Pell and Ernest Foster in 1884—and the Wheeler Condenser & Engineering Company, founded by Frederick Merriam Wheeler in 1891. The company was initially based in New York City before moving to Livingston, New Jersey, where it operated for nearly 25 years before relocating to Clinton, New Jersey, in 1987. In 2000, Foster Wheeler changed its incorporation to Bermuda, and in 2008, it further transitioned its incorporation to Switzerland.
Stock and Bond Specimens are made and usually retained by a printer as a record of the contract with a client, generally with manuscript contract notes such as the quantity printed. Specimens are sometimes produced for use by the printing company's sales team as examples of the firm’s products. These are usually marked "Specimen" and have no serial numbers.
