It is bordered by Ghana to the west, Benin to the east, and Burkina Faso to the north. The country extends south to the Gulf of Guinea, where its capital, Lomé, is situated. With a population of approximately 8 million people, Togo spans an area of 57,000 square kilometers (22,000 square miles) and has a width of less than 115 kilometers (71 miles) between Ghana and its eastern neighbor, Benin. Despite its relatively small size, Togo is one of the least developed countries in the region.
A stock certificate is issued by businesses, usually companies. A stock is part of the permanent finance of a business. Normally, they are never repaid, and the investor can recover his/her money only by selling to another investor. Most stocks, or also called shares, earn dividends, at the business's discretion, depending on how well it has traded. A stockholder or shareholder is a part-owner of the business that issued the stock certificates.
