Suriname - The Most Beautiful Set of Paper Money in the World. This complete Set of 4 notes is considered by many to be the most colorful and most artistic series of notes in current use today. A series of the most beautiful Suriname birds on face and flowers at back. The set includes the 5, 10, 25, and 100 Gulden.

In 1957, the Central Bank of Suriname assumed control of paper money production, issuing notes for denominations of 5, 10, 25, 100, and 1,000 guilders. In 1982, five-hundred-guilder notes were introduced, followed by 250 guilders in 1988. In 1995, two-thousand-guilder notes were introduced, and in 1997, 5,000 and 10,000 guilder notes were added. Finally, in 2000, 25,000 guilder notes were introduced.

The latest series of banknotes, introduced in 2000, features a colorful design with native birds on the front and native flowers on the back. The denominations include 5, 10, 25, 100, 500, 1,000, 5,000, 10,000, and 25,000 guilders.
