10,000,000,000 Dinara, P-R19S. Specimen! Front and back shown. The Croatian dinar (ISO 4217 code: HRD) was Croatia's transitional currency from December 23, 1991, to May 30, 1994, introduced after Croatia declared independence. It replaced the 1990 Yugoslav dinar at par. During its circulation, the dinar experienced significant depreciation, losing about 70 times its initial value. It was eventually replaced by the kuna at a rate of 1 kuna = 1000 dinara. The dinar was not used in the occupied territories of the Republic of Serbian Krajina.
