Signed by both Gouverneur Morris Jr. and Alexander Hamilton Jr. with revenue dated March 28, 1864. A very rare piece. Gouverneur Morris II (February 9, 1813 – August 20, 1888) was an American railroad executive and the son of founding father of the United States, Gouverneur Morris. Alexander Hamilton Jr. (May 16, 1786 - August 2, 1875) was the third child and the second son of Alexander Hamilton and Elizabeth Schuyler. He graduated from Columbia University, several weeks after his father was killed in a duel with Aaron Burr in 1804. He was invited to be an apprentice attorney in Stephen Higginson's Boston law firm and later became a lawyer.
