Edward Vernon Rickenbacker (1890-1973), Aviator and Businessman. Daredevil speed driver of cars and held the world speed record of 134 miles per hour. In World War I, he fought the �Red Barron�. He earned nearly every decoration possible including the Congressional Medal of Honor! Later organized the Rickenbacker Motor Company, bought a controlling interest in the Indianapolis Speedway, general manager of Eastern Airlines, later President.
