Valle's Steak House was a prominent American restaurant chain that operated from 1933 to 2000 along the East Coast, specializing in steaks and lobsters. The family-owned business expanded aggressively in the early 1970s but faced significant challenges, including the 1970s gas crisis, rising labor costs, the death of its founder, and changing consumer dining habits. These factors contributed to its decline, with the last location closing in August 2000. Many of the chain's locations were either demolished or repurposed after closing. The Andover, Massachusetts location, one of the last to shut down, was converted into a comedy club and later a bar and grill. As of 2013, it became part of the Massachusetts-based Italian restaurant chain "Chateau." The Braintree location, which was once the largest and busiest of the Valle’s restaurants, became a Hilltop Steak House before being demolished in 2006 to make way for a Toyota dealership. This location is also notable for hosting a 1980 campaign speech by Ronald Reagan during his run for the presidency. The Kittery, Maine location still stands but is no longer in use as a restaurant.
Stock and Bond Specimens are made and usually retained by a printer as a record of the contract with a client, generally with manuscript contract notes such as the quantity printed. Specimens are sometimes produced for use by the printing company's sales team as examples of the firm’s products. These are usually marked "Specimen" and have no serial numbers.
