The Tramp is an important mine on the west side of Rhyolite. It was a good producer, and in the 1980's there was still a pillar of high grade rock left that ran 12 ounces per ton gold. Production figures as are seriously lacking for this district. Listed as one of the mines at Bullfrog in Nevada Ghost Towns and Mining Camps, the Tramp became nationally known for its success. But it, along with others such as the Montgomery-Shoshone and the Original Bullfrog, folded in 1907, not soon before the entire district collapsed.

A stock certificate is issued by businesses, usually companies. A stock is part of the permanent finance of a business. Normally, they are never repaid, and the investor can recover his/her money only by selling to another investor. Most stocks, or also called shares, earn dividends, at the business's discretion, depending on how well it has traded. A stockholder or shareholder is a part-owner of the business that issued the stock certificates.
