Published 1852, New York - Press of the Historical Society, 86pp. An address delivered before the New York Historical Society, February 23, 1852 by Daniel Webster. Address given the same year of his death. Inscribed autograph by Webster "For Mr. Otis; with my best regards, Dan'l Webster". Also signed at front flyleaf and an interesting neatly attached note beautifully written by E. Henderson Otis dated 1854 related to Webster's address. Binding is a bit scuffed and front cover detached, otherwise fresh and excellent condition.
