Specimen Stock Certificate printed by American Bank Note Company. Cablevision Systems Corporation was an American cable television entity that provided services to regions surrounding New York City. It ranked as the fifth-largest cable provider and the ninth-largest television provider in the United States. During its operational years, particularly in its later stages, Cablevision catered exclusively to customers in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and a small portion of Pennsylvania, although it once extended its services to as many as 19 states. The company also delivered high-speed Internet services (Optimum Online), digital cable (Optimum TV/IO Digital Cable), and VoIP phone services (Optimum Voice), making it the eighth-largest telephone provider in the country, all under the Optimum brand. Additionally, Cablevision introduced a WiFi-only mobile phone service known as Freewheel. On June 21, 2016, the company was acquired by the European telecommunications conglomerate Altice. The services previously offered by Cablevision now operate under Altice USA, which continues to manage the Optimum Online, Optimum Voice, and Optimum TV brands.
Stock and Bond Specimens are made and usually retained by a printer as a record of the contract with a client, generally with manuscript contract notes such as the quantity printed. Specimens are sometimes produced for use by the printing company's sales team as examples of the firm’s products. These are usually marked "Specimen" and have no serial numbers.
