Argo Oil Corporation was organized in 1925 and grew to be a major corporation, developing many oil fields in Wyoming and the Western United States. It absorbed or controlled many subsidiaries. In December 1961 Argo sold its assets to Atlantic Refining Company and in February 1962 the corporation was dissolved. Read more at
