Brown Type Automotive Stock. Unusual vignette of a gear with wings, 3 figures, 2 male and 1 female. Famous American car maker. Scarce!!! American Motors Corporation (AMC), often referred to simply as American Motors, was an American automobile manufacturer established through the merger of Nash-Kelvinator Corporation and Hudson Motor Car Company on May 1, 1954. This merger represented the largest corporate consolidation in U.S. history at that time. AMC's primary competitors were other automakers with comparable annual sales figures, such as Studebaker, Packard, Kaiser Motors, and Willys-Overland. However, its most significant rivals were the Big Three: Ford, General Motors, and Chrysler.

The production portfolio of American Motors featured a range of vehicles, including compact cars like the Rambler American, which originated as the Nash Rambler in 1950, as well as the Hornet, Gremlin, and Pacer. Additionally, they produced intermediate and full-sized models such as the Ambassador, Rambler Classic, Rebel, and Matador. The company also ventured into the muscle car segment with models like the Marlin, AMX, and Javelin, along with early four-wheel drive options like the Eagle and the Jeep Wagoneer, which were among the first true crossovers in the U.S. market.

A stock certificate is issued by businesses, usually companies. A stock is part of the permanent finance of a business. Normally, they are never repaid, and the investor can recover his/her money only by selling to another investor. Most stocks, or also called shares, earn dividends, at the business's discretion, depending on how well it has traded. A stockholder or shareholder is a part-owner of the business that issued the stock certificates.
