LEE RUBBER & TIRE CORPORATION.-Company was incorporated December 14, 1915 in New York to manufacture, buy, sell, etc., automobile and other tires and all other classes of rubber and rubber goods; the company is also empowered to acquire and own securities of other corporations. Duration of charter perpetual. The company is a holding company owning the entire capital stock of the Lee Tire & Rubber Co., a Pennsylvania corporation. The 100,000 shares of stock outstanding were issued to acquire $400,000 first mortgage 6% bonds, $483,200 preferred and $1,000,000 common stock of the Lee Tire and Rubber Co. The bonds have since been exchanged for an equal amount of the preferred stock of the Pennsylvania corporation and cancelled by the latter company, so that the Lee Rubber and Tire Corporation now owns all the preferred and common stock of the Pennsylvania company, and there are no bonds or mortgage against either of these corporations.

The Lee Tire & Rubber Co. (of Pennsylvania) was incorporated June 16, 1911 in Pennsylvania. Owns the entire $20,000 capital stock of the Lee Tire & Rubber Co. of New York, Inc., a selling company, the name of which is shortly to be changed to "Lee Tire Sales Co., Inc." The sales corporation maintains a sales establishment in New York, N. Y. and branch offices in Chicago, Ill. and Atlanta, Ga. The output of the company in 1915 was about 200,000 automobile tires of a selling value approximating $3,000,000. The plant of the Pennsylvania company is located at Conshohocken, Pa., adjoining the tracks of the Philsdelphia & Reading Ry. and the Norristown Branch of the Pennsylvania RR. The property is owned in fee and has an acreage of approximately 27 acres.
