Daniel Edgar Sickles, (1825-1914), Congressman, Union Soldier, and Diplomat. In 1859 he shot and killed Philip Barton Key (son of Francis Scott Key) on account of attentions to Mrs. Sickles. He pleaded temporary insanity and was the first defendant acquitted with this defense. He was a Major General at Gettysburg. This New York stock is dated 1902 and boldly signed by Sickles as President. Extremely Rare! Only 1 found!
